Lyra+ Community Guidelines
Effective date: October 7, 2026 Last updated: October 7, 2026
Lyra+ is a place to find Events, go out with friends, and share what happened. These guidelines explain what is and is not allowed in profiles, posts, stories, Memories, messages, Event chats, groups, reviews, Event listings, and anything else you share on Lyra+. They are part of the Lyra+ Terms of Service. Hosts must also follow the Host Terms.
They apply online and, where it affects the safety of our community, to conduct at Events booked through Lyra+.
Be real
- Use your real identity. Do not impersonate a person, brand, venue, or performer, or suggest that one endorses you when it does not.
- Keep every account genuine. You may have more than one Lyra+ account, such as a personal account and one for your venue, brand, or crew, and switch between them in the app. Each account must be real and run by you or someone authorized to act for it. Do not use extra accounts to impersonate anyone, inflate reviews, follows, or attendance, get around purchase limits, or evade a block, suspension, or ban. Do not create fake or automated accounts, or buy, sell, or share accounts.
- Be honest about Events. Listings must be accurate. Fake Events, bait-and-switch lineups, and misleading flyers are not allowed.
- Leave genuine reviews. Review only Events you attended. Do not post fake reviews, pay or offer perks for positive ones, or pressure anyone to change a review.
- Disclose paid promotion. If you get paid, free entry, or other perks for promoting an Event, say so clearly.
Respect people
- No harassment or bullying. Do not threaten, intimidate, degrade, or repeatedly contact someone who has not welcomed it. Do not encourage others to target someone.
- No hate or extremism. Do not attack people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious disease, or age. Do not praise or support violent extremist groups.
- No violence or threats. Do not threaten or incite violence, glorify violent attacks, or show graphic violence for shock value.
- Respect privacy. Do not share someone's private information, such as their address, phone number, ID documents, financial details, or private messages, without permission. Do not tag people falsely or in content they would reasonably object to.
- Get consent before you record. Do not secretly record private conversations. Follow venue recording rules. Do not post intimate images of anyone without their consent, ever.
Keep it safe
- Nudity and sexual content. Sexually explicit content is not allowed. Do not use Lyra+ to offer or solicit sexual services.
- Protect minors. Lyra+ is for adults 18 and older. Content that sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
- Self-harm. Do not promote or encourage suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. If someone is at risk, we may share support resources with them. If you are in the U.S. and need help, call or text 988.
- Illegal goods, drugs, and weapons. Do not buy, sell, or arrange the sale of illegal drugs, weapons, alcohol to minors, or other regulated or illegal goods.
- Dangerous activities. Do not promote activities likely to cause serious injury, including drink spiking or other dangerous behavior at Events.
Keep it fair
- No spam or scams. Do not post repetitive or unsolicited promotions, deceptive links, phishing, malware, or get-rich-quick schemes.
- No ticket fraud. Do not sell, transfer, or advertise fake, duplicated, or stolen tickets, or ask people to pay for Lyra+ tickets outside Lyra+. Share ticket codes only with the ticket holder.
- No false information that causes harm. Do not spread false claims about an Event's safety, cancellation, or details that could mislead or endanger people.
- No manipulation. Do not use bots or automation, or coordinate fake activity, to inflate followers, engagement, Lyra+ Scores, rankings, or ticket sales.
- Respect intellectual property. Post only content you own or have permission to use. See the copyright section of the Terms for how to report infringement.
Using AI features responsibly
Lyra+ offers AI tools for captions, flyers, images, and Event highlights. You are responsible for what you publish with them. Review AI output before sharing it. Do not use AI tools to create deceptive images of real people, sexual content, content that violates these guidelines, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
At Events
Follow the Host's and the venue's rules, respect staff and other guests, and look out for each other. Lyra+ cannot provide emergency response. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Reporting and blocking
- Report a profile, post, message, Event, or review from its menu in the app. Reports are confidential, and we do not tell the person who reported them.
- Block someone to stop them from finding your profile, messaging you, following you, or inviting you.
- You can also email support@lyraplus.com.
- False or joke reports may lead to account action.
Reports are not an emergency channel and are not monitored in real time.
How we enforce these guidelines
We use a combination of user reports, automated tools, and human review. Depending on how serious the violation is, the context, and your history, we may:
- remove or limit the visibility of content;
- add a warning or label;
- restrict features such as messaging, posting, hosting, or selling;
- cancel Event listings or ticket orders, or hold payouts as described in the Payout Policy;
- temporarily suspend or permanently remove an account; and
- preserve information and work with law enforcement when the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk.
Severe violations, such as child sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, or large-scale fraud, can lead to immediate permanent removal. We consider context, such as news reporting, satire, art, and discussions of abuse in order to condemn or raise awareness of it.
Appeals
If you believe we made a mistake, email support@lyraplus.com with the subject "Appeal" within 30 days of the decision. Include your username and what you would like us to review. We will review your appeal and tell you the outcome.
We update these guidelines as Lyra+ and our community change. The current version is always available at this page.
